9 Weeks
How Far Along: 9 weeks today
Size of baby: Baby is already the size of a prune
Weight Gain: 126lbs, which is about a pound gained
Waist: 33.75inches
What I Love: Watching my weeks go by (really fast!!)
What I Miss: My wine
Cravings: Grilled Cheese, but still struggling to find food thats appeling.
Symptoms: Its all came back full force this week! Morning sickness, bloating, tender breasts, headaches, and constant fatigue. I'm also having issues remebering anything including my dogs names and postal code.
Sleep: Been pretty good this week, 10hrs a night with a nap most evenings.
Maternity Clothes: Not yet wearing my maternity clothes, but defnitely making good use of my belly band.
Movement: Not yet
Gender: Planning to not find out
Favourite Moment this Week: Seeing my belly starting to form, Its definitely popping out a bit now.

8 Weeks

How Far Along: I am 8 weeks Pregnant.
Size of baby: An olive.
Weight Gain: I am 125 and have not gained anything yet.
Waist: 33.25 inches
What I Love: Knowing there is a life growing inside of me.
What I Miss: My nightly glass of wine, but its totally worth it
Cravings: Maybe Mac n' Cheese but thats more because I can stomach it and it doesn't seem gross to me. Definitely struggling trying to find food that is appealing to eat.
Symptoms: I feel really good, I had a lot of breast tenderness and big size increas (2 cup sizes already and I did not want anymore!), but thats already improving and does not bother me anymore. I was sleeping 12hrs a day and exhausted all the time and thats improved a lot. I have bloating and belly issues but no worse than with PMS. My nose is either stuffy or runny and sometimes both at the same time.
Sleep: I am not tired 24/7 as much anymore and actually am having some troubles sleeping through the night.
Maternity Clothes: went shopping and bought a bunch while in the states. I am starting to not fit in my clothes already due to bust increase and bloating.
Movement: None, just lots of bubbles in my belly.
Favorite Moment this Week: Seeing the baby and it's heartbeat! Incredible!!

The Last 8 weeks

Just wanted to make a list of some of the things that have happened over the last 8 Weeks.

Jan 18- Got our first positive pregnancy test, about 20 later I believed that I was indeed pregnant. (3 weeks 5 days)
Jan 24- Ended up going to the walk-in clinc. Had the pregnancy confirmed via doctor test and was diagnosed with bronchitis. Was also sent to get a dating ultrasound done due to having Mirena and no normal cycle.
Jan 25- Went for ultrasound and didn't see the screen or get any news, was told to wait for my doctor to call me. I was crushed and really sad and upset. I thought the worst was happening.
Jan 26- I finally heard back from my doctor and found out that they did see something just not enough to confirm if it was a viable pregnancy. Felt better but was still very scared.
Jan 27- Started spotting and thought the worst again, almost went to ER. But every time I was going to go it stopped.
Jan 28- Spotting continued but was very light, eventually stopping by afternoon. We were going to tell his parents but were weary with the spotting. We decided that we would tell them no matter the outcome. Told them and they were ecstatic
Feb 2- Had to take our dogs to my Mom's as we were going on vacation on the 3rd. Told her our news and she was excited.
Feb 3-16- Left for Phoenix, AZ. First plane ride pregnant, I normally have a few drinks to relax but obivously could not. It was okay. I bought a box of 2 digital tests as they are way cheaper than in Canada (really, its way to fun to pee on things). Went shopping for lots of baby stuff and maternity clothes, as its cheaper and with more selection. We attented our first PGA tour event, the waste amnagement open, and had a blast. Also went to a Coyotes/Avalanch hockey game (Feb 7) and a Suns/Golden State Warriors game (Feb 10). We also played 10 rounds of golf, very tiring but worth it. My food aversions and tiredness really kicked in while were there and ended up telling the friends we were staying with. It wasn't much of a secret as just when we told them we had something to share, they jumped up and yelled "shes pregnant". Guess sleeping all the time , not drinking and not wanting food gives it away pretty quick.
Feb 17- Went for follow up ultrasound, seen baby and its heartbeat. Such a relief, happiest moment in my life so far for sure. I thought for sure something was wrong and was so relieved to see that everything was fine.

8 Weeks, 1 day

I went to an ultrasound yesterday and got to see our little bean and it's heartbeat (168bpm). I am 8 weeks and 1 day amd will be doing weekly updates (hopefully). I am feeling way better than I thought I would and it already improves on a daily basis. It was the most amazing thing ever to see his/her heartbeat flickering away, it immediately brought tears to my eyes to actually see what is growing in my belly!
Here is a pic of a digital test that I took for the fun of it, I was actually still scared it would say not pregnant. Following are the pictures of our teeny tiny bean.
