19 Week Ultrasound

We had our 19 Week Ultrasound on Thursday, May 5. Being so close to Mothers Day, we wanted to surprise our mothers with the pictures before posting on the blog. It was truly amazing to see our baby wiggling and moving on the screen. It's all really cool but I always tear up when they show you the heart beating. It is crazy that I have a new little life growing in me, seeing it makes it so real. We successfully did not find out the sex. Nobody knows at all, the tech did not even try to find out and that makes me happy so no future mishaps can happen. We will have to wait till little ones arrival to find out and I am anxiously waiting for that day.

The lips and nose. You have to look at this one closely but babies mouth is partially open, the chin/bottom lip is on the left side and the upper lip and nose are on the right side of the blob in the middle. Hopefully you can see it as I think it is really precious.

The Following is a video that was made for Mother's Day with the 4D video on it, if you watch closely you can see at one point that baby actually smiles! So cute and glad to know baby is quite happy in there.



10 Weeks



How Far Along: 10 weeks, made it to the double digits :) 

Size of baby: Baby is now the size of a lime

Weight Gain: 128pounds so thats 3 pounds in total, but weighed at end of day this time.

Waist: 34inches.

What I Love: How well I am sleeping at night. 

What I Miss: Wine and I really want a beer.

Cravings: Mcdonalds, and I normally hate it but their fries are so yummy right now.

Symptoms:A lot has left, I'm really emotional, and still am really tired all the time!

Sleep: Love it, getting lots and am savouring sleeping on my belly while I still can. 

Maternity Clothes: Am starting to wear them to work to hide the belly as I have not told them yet.

Movement: Not yet but getting pretty excited

Item Of the Week: I bought an at home doppler, as well as my in laws bought us the stroller we were hoping to get. It is a 2010 model that was on sale and disappearing from stores eveywhere so we were going to purchase it soon and they did for us!!
